1. Library

Underlying all of this is, of course, the very basic function of maintaining and circulating the library collection. Our mission is to offer learning services, books and resources that enable all members of the school community to become critical thinkers and effective users of information in all formats and media.

2. Sports

At S.B.P.S School the sporting infrastructure is second to none in India. Immaculately groomed fields for cricket, football and hockey are only the beginning of the experience: we also have courts for tennis, volleyball, badminton, and squash and a superb swimming pool, snooker/billiards room, a gymnasium, a yoga room, plus a vast space for cross-country running and other outdoor pursuits. Our Physical Education staff are highly committed to fitness and wellness. They have vast experience in drawing out the best sporting instincts in students and getting all children involved in what is a superb social as well as physical activity. Teamwork and sportsmanship skills are at the heart of the programme.

3. Medical Care

As a 24/7 boarding school, we take our commitment to the health and well-being of our students extremely seriously. Two full-time nurses live in our eight-bed medical centre and a doctor is always on call. For emergencies we have a driver and vehicle ready round the clock. Parents will always be called immediately in the case of any serious medical issue. The nurses bring students to clinics and hospitals for check-ups and tests as required. All medicines are stored securely in the medical centre and no student is permitted to have medicine in their study bedrooms. All precautions are taken to ensure that each child is healthy and cared for with sensitivity and positivism by our professional staff.

4. Pastoral Care

Parents should rest assured when they send their children to S.B.P.S School because every student is cared for at all times. In School, all teachers, in addition to Form Tutors, care not only about their subject area but also about how each student is coping. This becomes easier as there are not more than 25 students to a class. In addition to carefully selected and trained experienced teachers who are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for the students, there are Heads of department, Curriculum Coordinators, College Counselors, Boarding House Masters/Mistresses, House Parents and a senior management team to look after the daily needs of each child.

5. Transport

Kindergarten students on an afternoon trip have a round route. The drop off stop may not be the same as the pick up stop. Please get in touch with our Transport Department for clarification. High quality bus provision carries a large number of Day Boarders to the school. Parents are requested to kindly wait at the pick-up/drop off points at least 5 minutes in advance.
